New Lobster Roll At Fenway Park Served In Hot Buttered Baseball Mitt
Buttery leather goodness.

Yum.

BOSTON—Concessionaire leaders at Fenway Park announced this baseball season that they will be serving a new food addition at vendors across the stadium: a New England-style lobster roll served in a hot buttered baseball mitt, sources reported.
“We are proud to announce that the authentic leather baseball mitt will be dipped in hot butter before the mayo-mixed lobster roll is added directly into the mitt. It will be the greatest Fenway tradition since hot dogs!” said concessionaire innovator Larry O’Hara as he dipped a leather baseball mitt into a melted butter mixture like a mad scientist.
The lobster mitt will be available on opening day, April 4, and will be market-priced between $42 and $7,000 a glove.
“Fans can have the lobster roll traditional style or just opt to have a full lobster in a shell placed in the mitt, which in my opinion will be a great way to catch a foul ball since you’ll have two extra claws!” continued O’Hara as he attempted to add more press to his creation.

Fans were excited, calling the addition “long-awaited” and “overdue.”
“It’s about time, nothing screams Red Sox more than lobster in a mitt,” said season ticket holder Mindy McKinney as she pre-ordered a half dozen mittens, unaware of the market price fluctuation. “And plus, I like the thought of increasing my odds of catching a foul ball,” said Mindy as she added more than a dozen mittens to her pre-order.
Hot dog vendor, Danny McKitchen, weighed in, calling the move “a war on hot dogs.”
“Fans want hot dogs. Hot dogs and Red Sox, they’ve been together since 1916. Lobster? I’d like to see how many people buy the stuff,” scoffed Danny as he scrambled to add hot dogs in a hat to his menu to compete with the new innovative food ad. “Once fans see hot dogs in hats, it’ll be over for the lobster!” continued Danny as he used binoculars to spy on the new lobster mitt stands set up throughout the park.
Fans can expect long lines on April 4. They will be able to find the lobster stands throughout Fenway and be offered a discount if they bring their own mittens for dipping.
At press time, Larry was seen debuting his hot dog in a hat creation outside the stadium before opening day, but was quickly shut down as people said, “Hot dogs in hats? Yuck! What are you nuts!”
End of the Bench will have more on this story after we grab a lobster roll and a hot dog.
